Challenge |
A well-known research hospital had cardiac implant IP that they wanted to sell. They needed to increase the value of the IP but did not have internal development resources to reduce the invention to practice. |

Solution |
AlvaMed developed the implant invention to prototype, designed and developed a delivery system for the implant and found vendors to fabricate the devices. AlvaMed engineers were able to demonstrate a working implant and delivery system with the first prototypes, and expanded the research hospital’s IP. |

Results |
The client was able to sell the IP to the intended buyers. |
