Case Study: Timeline Development

A large pharmaceutical company needed a new product development timeline and budget to measure investment as part of a larger due diligence effort AlvaMed completed for them on an electro-mechanical medical device.

AlvaMed brought in a team of experienced consultants to complete the due diligence, including a project manager. The project manager templated the timeline based upon the team’s experience, and then held a work breakdown structure meeting with the AlvaMed team to populate the timeline with durations, linkages and resources to the risk level defined by the client.

The client pharmaceutical company found the timeline not only answered their investment questions, but also explained the medical device development process. The client has approached AlvaMed to help them coordinate the product development, should they go ahead with the investment
